Harmony SASE | Initial Setup and Registration
Issue
HPG has a multitude of applications and resources that are located in the cloud or in any number of our sites. Accessing these resources can be challenging without the proper tools for connecting and managing access.
In the past, we had utilized Barracuda CloudGen Access, but have started to or have complete the phase out of Barracuda. Harmony SASE is the replacement for CloudGen Access.
Solution
Harmony SASE permits employees to access their authorized resources all within a single solution, and establishes a secured, Zero Trust Network. This guide will show employees how to get started with Harmony SASE.
Guide
- Submit a ticket at https://helpdesk.hpgbrands.com and request that Harmony SASE is installed on your computer and that you are given access to Harmony SASE and the resources you need
- Wait for an Agent to confirm that Harmony SASE is installed
- Open the Harmony SASE application from the start menu

- You will be asked to Sign in, click the Sign In button

- A browser window will open and prompt for the workspace name, enter 'hpg-brands' and click Continue

- At the Sign In screen, click Sign in with Microsoft

- After signing in, the browser will likely notify you that the site is attempting to open an application. Click the 'Open Harmony SASE' button to continue

- At this point, your device has been registered and Harmony SASE will startup and connect you to our Secure Network. Wait for it to load and inform you it is connected.

- Harmony SASE should now be connected and access to the remote resources granted.

If there is a specific resource you cannot access, but believe you should, submit a ticket from the help desk portal.
Note: Harmony SASE may not function correctly within HPG Offices as it is intended, primarily, for remote resource access. Disconnect or close Harmony SASE if you are experiencing issues accessing local resources while in the office.
